It has come to our attention that some of our members have received fraudulent emails claiming that the Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce’s mailing list is available for purchase. We want to unequivocally state that this is a scam, and the Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce has not authorized or initiated any sale of our mailing list to any external parties.

These scam emails may be designed to deceive and compromise your information or your organization’s data. We urge all members to exercise caution when receiving unsolicited emails.

Here are some steps you can take to protect yourself:

  • Do Not Respond: Avoid responding to or engaging with the email sender.
  • Do Not Click on Any Links: Refrain from clicking on any links or downloading attachments within the email.
  • Verify the Sender: Always verify the authenticity of the sender by cross-referencing their contact information with LPCC’s contact information.
  • Report Suspicious Activity: If you receive such an email, please report it to us immediately at info@lincolnparkchamber.com so we can take appropriate action.

In the meantime, please remain vigilant, and if you have any doubts about the legitimacy of an email or communication claiming to be from the LPCC, please do not hesitate to reach out to us directly for verification.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding in this matter.
